Last Saturday, I visited the preview of the International Print Exchange at Green Door Printmaking Studio in Derby.

I’ve never visited the IPE exhibition before even though I’d entered prints in previous years but thought I would make the effort to visit this time around.

I wasn’t disappointed. Print techniques included Screen-prints, Solar plate etchings, Linocut and etchings amongst this colourful exhibition. An amazing selection of exquisite quirky imaginative work as well as impressive print craft.

A few weeks before visiting the exhibition, I received a random set of 8 prints from the IPE. As a contributor, I submitted an edition of 10 matching prints. The prints entered were then checked, labelled, sorted and then sent to other contributing printers from around the globe from Russia to France…

Here is my entry on displayed, which I also produced a green edition. The exhibition runs until Sunday 14th November 2026.
