Looks like I have sold one of my etchings at yesterday’s Art Guild’s preview. Not bad on the opening day.
96th Exhibition
I am thrilled that two of my recent etchings are in the 96th Stockport Art Guild exhibition at Stockport War Memorial and Art Gallery which is on from 3rd December 2016 to 7th January 2017.
Night prints
Here are my latest etching aquatint prints which have a night theme. The first print is of the 16th century Underbank Hall which is now a bank and the second print depicts Stockport Plaza, a 1930s cinema and variety theatre in the centre of Stockport.
Lowry in Stockport etching
Apart from working on my relief print today of the church, I have started a new etching entitled “Lowry in Stockport” which is inspired by a photo taken of Lowry sketching the viaduct in the early 1960s.
